The Sky Patrol on Mmmph

Out now on Mmmph Records is The Remixes, featuring a remix I did of Velocirapture's incredible track, Picture This. Head over to the Mmmph Website to download the release.

Tracklisting:

1: Charles Jordan - Wishbone (Qbical Drupjes Mix)
2: Velocirapture - Picture This (Sky Patrol Remix)
3: Russian Linesman - It's Not 1967 (Pakman's Jekyll Vs. Hyde Remix)
4: Caleb Fox - Peachmaster (A Remix To Bring The Sun by Fractal)

Velocirapture - Picture This (Sky Patrol Remix)

Don't hesitate to head on over to Mmmph and grab this release. Although I'm proud of my remix, it really is the least among the great tracks featured. The Qbical remix of Wishbone is a beautifully glitchy calvacade of sound. The arpeggiated melody finds and loses and then finds it's rhythm as it snakes it's way through the track. Then you've got Pakman's remix of It's Not 1967, which unfolds rather innocently, innocuously. Not much there to prepare you for the sonic drilling you're brain is about to experience. It's a complete powerhouse of a track. Finally, there's newly minted Kompakt artist Fractal, who's remix of the Caleb Fox track Peachmaster is an achingly beautiful musical rendition of Earth's first sunrise. The colors deep, rich, and vibrant, you can see the sun rising over the water as the birds soar out to sea.

The Sky Patrol on BBC Radio One

Thomas Bisdee, otherwise known as Kissy Sell Out, has entrenched himself firmly on the frontlines in the battle between electro, nu rave, minimal, and tech house. Transmitting on a special frequency from the blockade is his new weekly show for BBC's Radio One titled In New DJ's We Trust. The first broadcast was on July 21, and, amazingly, Mr. Bisdee decided to play a Sky Patrol track (right in between Van She Tech and Simian Mobile Disco).
